I notice the Yuba can haul stuff I wouldn't attempt with the free radical/mountainbike frame combination. Maybe I'll start doing this sort of thing.

Yes the Yuba is quite the bike...it is very sturdy and I am amazed at some of the things I have hauled with it. The downside of the bike (if there is one) is that it weighs a ton (over sixty pounds with nothing on it...it is not a bike to take on long or hilly trips. None the less I use it almost every day. One bike that caught my attention along these same lines is the Madsen (it's linked in the sidebar). Anyhow, thanks for reading and commenting, I enjoy your blog as well.
