A Sure Sign of Spring

Amidst the dried leaves, weeds, and other natural debris in my neighbor's front yard after the last melt of a long winter, these precious little flowers were poking through...brilliant colors in a sea of brown, beige, and last season's green. Too beautiful not to ponder.
