Tiny Ears of City Corn

For the past several years I've grown a few stalks of corn in my front yard garden mostly for ornamental purposes...some years the yield is better than others. This year it's pretty good. The ears are small, but they're full and the kernels are sweet. I only have a dozen stalks growing next to my hitching post and have probably about 2 dozen ears ready to be picked...not bad. To see pictures of my corn crop from a couple of summers ago where I had about 4 dozen stalks growing, click here.
