Yes, I realize that I'm probably "preaching to the choir" with this image at this blog, but I couldn't help myself...I came across this and felt like posting it. But if you are an adult who has not ridden a bike in a while, I hope you do so again soon. You may remember what a viable mode of transport it is; what a feeling of freedom it is. You may like it, if just for one day...

Belated Merry Christmas wishes to you. I hope that 2013 will bring health and happiness.

As for today's post, I think that today would be a bad day to reintroduce oneself to the joys of bicycling - well at least when the forecast foot of snow arrives in Buffalo later today.

Hi Dan, nice to hear from you. And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well. Yes, I am aware of the weather forecast but I have to say that I'm dubious...seems like there have been so many "false alarms" last winter and this one. Anyhow, even if we do get hit hard (which I wouldn't mind seeing how it has been a couple years) it won't stay long...maybe a few days. Winters in WNY are not what they used to be...a few more years and real estate in cities like Buffalo and ST. Catherines will be sought after for their temperate climates :)
