Earth Cycle

I took this photo this past week on my day off. The day it rained and rained and rained. Yes I was out on my bike. And yes I got wet. But that's okay, I dried off, too.

Earth Cycle 
the earth breathes
she sweats
exudes her excess
joining clouds
forming clouds
until it's too much
and then it falls
in mist
droplets
landing everywhere
on houses
trees
my upturned face
on everything
it falls back
into her
becoming her
again
and again and again
mother earth
